  3. <hi style=afpcap>Based on the incredibly successful Boeing 737 jetliner, this T-43—longer name, CT-43A—belongs to the Colorado Air National Guard at Buckley Field near Denver. The T-43 is the standard trainer for student navigators for all branches of the US armed forces. The aircraft operated by Guardsmen at Buckley are used for training and for transport duties. Parent outfit is the 140th Fighter Wing.</hi>
